245 - Limited Exposure
Hi there, eMagiz developers! In the last sprint, we released functionality to increase the stability of Windows runtimes. This means that those runtimes are now better limited in the memory they can utilize to prevent resource limitations on the machine level. Furthermore, we introduced several minor improvements to the platform.
Runtime Memory Update (Windows Machines Only)
As part of this release, we will update the underlying memory calculations for all runtimes running on a Windows machine. Consequently, these runtimes will slightly increase your machine's memory footprint.
eMagiz Connector - Update
With this release, we will release a new version of the eMagiz Connector in anticipation of our developments regarding introducing a new event streaming broker within the platform. This version will include functionality allowing you to connect to the new event streaming broker once that is released. By already using this now, you will avoid updating the eMagiz Connector twice in a relatively short time.
The new version will be made available via the Mendix Marketplace.

New Question - Notification
Q&A Forum Moderators can choose to receive notifications by email about newly posted questions on the forum.
Bug Fixes
Manage - Visibility
Users with only view rights in both Manage and Deploy can now see all Manage information belonging to that model without having to request additional view rights in earlier phases. This allows for more strict user access on the model level.
Create Transformations - Helptext Updates
We have changed specific components in the flow designer regarding the help text.
- The help text for the "value expression" field in the "duplicate detector" support object better reflects its purpose while also providing practical examples.
- The help text for the "virtual root "field of the "JSON source factory "support object better reflects its functionality and behavior while also stating that arrays on the root level are not supported.
