Hi there, eMagiz developers! This release introduces the ability for beta models to run on our new event broker. With this critical step being reached, we can migrate the first set of beta customers to the new event broker while simultaneously further developing this proposition.
 

Running your event streaming solution on DSH*

As of now, your event streaming solution may run on the DSH platform developed by KPN. Over the past year, we have been working hard to reach this point and are now ready to roll it out to our first set of customers. This means that for those models for which the feature flag is enabled, a migration wizard will be available to guide you in moving away from our current event streaming broker to our new one on the DSH platform.
 
We have created this new event streaming broker to simplify the development process while enhancing the stability and scalability of the event broker solution for all our customers.

Information
  • Before using this, please take into consideration the following:
  • In case you have a Mendix application connecting to the event streaming broker, the "eMagiz Connector" Mendix Marketplace module is available in the Mendix Marketplace. The correct version you need is 1.1.0
    • Your Mendix app needs to run on Java 17
    • Your Mendix app needs to run on version 9.24.25 or higher
    • We have tested and support the LTS and MTS versions of Mendix with this eMagiz Mendix Connector
    • Share the activation key after the integrations are added to a release that is activated. 
  • If you are connecting an application to the broker that is not using the Mendix platform, please check out this microlearning
  • Should problems arise while implementing this, please contact us via our support department.

Minor Changes

Deploy Properties - data type update
A new data type option is introduced on the property level. This data type enables the storage of PEM certificates in their correct format, which is necessary for a secure connection to DSH.
