275 - Summer Sounds

Hi there, eMagiz developers! This release includes various smaller improvements throughout the various phases of the platform. On top of that, we have updated certain parts of our Mendix project to their respective latest version.

Minor Changes

General - Platform

• As part of our regular system maintenance, we have upgraded the application to the Mendix LTS version 11.12.
  • This upgrade improves the platform's overall stability, security, and long-term reliability. This upgrade has no impact on daily operations.
  • This update ensures the application remains well-supported and ready for future enhancements.

General - eMagiz Connector

As part of our regular system maintenance, we will release a new version of the eMagiz Connector (1.2.0) that is compatible with Mendix 11 (11.12.1 and higher)
 
General - Legacy Event Streaming Broker

As part of our regular system maintenance, we have updated Kafka Broker version from 3.8.1 to 3.9.2.

Design - Settings (Integrations)

You can download a (filtered) list of integrations to Excel.

Create - Flow Designer

• Various updates to flow designer components are introduced in preparation for the Spring 7 migration.
  • Two support object components are no longer available to create in the current generation.
    • Access decision manager
    • OAuth2 Bearer token authentication filter.
  • We updated validation for a few components in preparation for the Spring 7 migration to address missing or incorrect settings after the components are saved. Note that these updated settings can lead to alerts when opening a flow that currently has an incorrect configuration
    • File inbound channel adapter
    • TCP inbound channel adapter
    • JMS outbound gateway
    • Standard content enricher > Property
    • HTTP security
  • On top of that, some components are end of support. They are no longer used in any client model and are therefore removed from the list of selectable Flow Designer components.

Manage - Data Sink

Updated the data sink feature to use an improved UI/UX and the latest connection functionality to the S3 bucket.

Bug Fixes

Design - Architecture
We fixed an inconsistency that prevented users from moving machines to any desired location within their Design Architecture. We did this by updating the display order calculation for machines when adding or moving them.

Deploy - Swagger UI
We fixed an inconsitency in the displayed Swagger that incorrectly showed the data schema of request and response messages.

• Updated various UI related modules within our Mendix project to their respective latest version.
