Hi there, eMagiz developers! In the last sprint, we released several stability options, mainly regarding the platform's deletion behavior. We also updated the flow configuration of Mendix systems to avoid conflicts with the Excel Importer, another module that you could be using in Mendix.

eMagiz Connector - Update

As mentioned in our previous release blog we advised to wait with the migration until further notice from our end. We now use this release blog to announce that we have a fix that ensures that there will be no conflicts in your Mendix app between the eMagiz Connector and the Excel Importer module. For everyone who has not yet migrated, we now strongly advise you to migrate starting from this moment.

For all early adopters, this means that you need to execute several steps to align with the latest state again.

Information
  • Reset all synchronous entry flows linked to already migrated Mendix systems. If you are unsure how to reset a flow, please check out this microlearning.
  • Activate a new release, including the latest changes if there are any, and notify the Mendix app developer that they need to stop and start their Mendix application so they will run on our latest image, specific for the eMagiz connector.

Major Changes

Admin overwrite session log-out
We now offer the option to forcefully log out a user who is stuck in a session and causes issues during your model's development. This is a last resort and should be used only when no other alternatives are available.

Updated deletion behavior Create - Integration Level

  • We have updated the functionality behind the "Add Integration" overview to better support the following deletion cases.
    • Users cannot un-transfer an integration in the Create phase if another user is editing a part of the flow attached to the integration.
    • Users cannot un-transfer the last integration of a System in the Create phase if another user is editing the connector infra.
    • Users can un-transfer the Exit/Entry connector in the Create phase either by selecting one of the integrations or both of the integrations of the Exit/Entry connector. This process is also successful when the Exit/Entry connector is in the Deploy phase.

Bug Fixes

Data Model - Removing Entities
Users can remove entities that were once part of a gateway message of an API operation that has been removed/un-transferred from the Create Phase.

Create Transformations - Helptext
The help text of the “Max fetch size” property of the “IMAP idle channel adapter” better reflects its behavior and usage.

Fancy Forum Answers

As always, this is a gentle reminder to ask questions via the Q&A forum, which is available in the eMagiz iPaaS portal. This way, we can all benefit from the knowledge within the community.
